Polearms
Bardiche
A pole axe. It had a larger than normal axe blade but the pole it was attached to was usually shorter than most other polearms.
Halberd
A long polearm, toped with an axe blade, a long spike on the tip and a type of hooked spike or thorn on the back.
Naginata
A polearm from Japan. The naginata is simply a long shaft toped with a curved blade.
Yari
Another polearm from Japan, the yari is more like what we might consider a traditional spear. Like the naginata it has a long shaft but the blade at the end is straight rather than curved.
